Microsoft Web Outlook now Available on some Android Device

Microsoft recently launched an android version of Outlook web App to some of the android devices. The app is similar to the one released for iOS having similar features. This app is a prerelease and the usage is limited to users already having Office 365 with business accounts. At the moment, app is only available for devices that are running on Android KitKat 4.4 or higher with small as well as normal sized-screens. It is currently supported on a few devices only. This list includes Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5, Moto X, the Nexus 5, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Sony Xperia ZL and Sony Xperia Z1. The company has mentioned to add more devices on regular basis. Meanwhile users who are interested to work with this outlook web app can request for new devices and features to be added at Microsoft’s Outlook Web App for Devices suggestion page. Microsoft has mentioned that the purpose of the prerelease is to use the app to fix bugs and ensure that app is ready to be launched with full-scale rollout. At the start of this year, the company announced the android web app with new tools for Office 365. Last year in summer, the iOS version of OWA was launched. Along with the iOS features, the android version of this app will also synchronize changes automatically with your device contacts and the contacts in Office 365. Explaining a scenario, they mentioned that if a friend changes a phone number and gets a new one, and you update your contact list with his new number, the contacts in Office 365 would automatically be updated.
